Product details

Cat. No. : “EDU121/09”
To measure the surface tension of a liquid:
A blade is horizontally immersed in the liquid and slowly withdrawn upwards while recording the pulling force.
The liquid lamella formed on the blade "breaks away" once the force surpasses a certain threshold.
Surface tension can be calculated from this force and
the blade's length.
